Library Of Me (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

1. What We Collect

1.1 Account & Authentication (Sign in with Apple / Google / Email)

If you choose to sign in, we process limited information to create and maintain your account and to help you access the Service securely:

• Sign in with Apple: a unique account identifier. If you choose to share it, we may also receive your name and email. If you use “Hide My Email”, we may receive an Apple private relay email address.
• Sign in with Google: a unique account identifier and, depending on your settings and permissions, your name and email address.
• Email sign-in: your email address and authentication/verification metadata (e.g., a one-time code or magic-link token).

We do not receive or store your Apple ID or Google password.

1.2 Purchases & Subscriptions (In-App Purchases)

If you purchase a subscription or a one-time “lifetime” unlock, the payment is processed by Apple (App Store). To unlock paid features and support purchase restoration, we may process purchase-related information such as product identifiers, purchase status, and transaction/receipt identifiers.

We do not collect or store your payment card information.

1.3 Analytics (Facebook SDK / Meta, Amplitude)

To improve app performance and understand general usage patterns, we use analytics SDKs such as the Facebook SDK (Meta) and Amplitude SDK. These tools may collect aggregated usage data and device/app information (such as app launches, feature interactions, device model, OS version, app version, and event metadata).

We do not send your reading notes, book text, or other user-generated content to analytics providers. The use of these SDKs is governed by the providers’ privacy policies.

2. Information Stored on Your Device

The following information is stored locally on your device:

• Books you add to your library
• Notes, reflections, and saved quotes
• Genre preferences
• Reading progress and statistics

3. iCloud Sync

If you enable Apple iCloud sync, the app can store and synchronize your reading data across your Apple devices. Key points:

• Synced data is stored in your personal iCloud account
• iCloud encryption and security are provided by Apple
• You may disable iCloud sync at any time in your device’s settings
• Deleting the app may not remove data stored in iCloud (depends on your iCloud settings)

The use of iCloud is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

4. How We Use Information

• Provide the Service: enable sign-in, maintain your account, and deliver core features.
• Unlock paid features: verify and restore purchases, maintain subscription access.
• Improve the app: understand usage patterns, fix bugs, and improve performance.
• Support: respond to requests and troubleshoot issues.
• Safety and compliance: prevent abuse and comply with legal obligations.

5. Sharing of Information

We may share information only as needed to operate the Service:

• Apple: for payments (App Store) and iCloud services (if enabled).
• Authentication providers: Apple / Google to enable sign-in.
• Service providers: analytics providers (such as Meta/Facebook SDK and Amplitude).

We do not sell your personal information.

6. Data Retention

We retain account and purchase-related data only as long as necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Reading data stored on your device or in your iCloud account follows your device and iCloud settings.

7. Your Choices

• Account: you may sign out at any time. Where available, you can request deletion of your account by contacting us.
• Local data: you can delete local app data by deleting the app.
• iCloud: iCloud data removal depends on your iCloud settings.
• Analytics: you may limit certain tracking via your device privacy settings where applicable.

8. Children’s Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the applicable minimum age without parental consent. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the app evolves. If significant changes are made, we will notify users within the app and update the “Last updated” date above.
